Arrive to Tashkent's airport. Meet and greet service. Transfer to hotel,check in at 14:00.

A.Navoi National Park – park territory, an area of 65 hectares includes an artificial lake. Beaches are located on the eastern shore of the lake. The park has many amusement rides, cafes; and a wooden ship moored to the shore.

Visiting the Tashkent TV tower, where you may see a magnificent panorama of the capital of Uzbekistan in all its glory. The Tashkent television tower is one of the tallest structures of its kind in Central Asia. In 1991, the Tashkent TV Tower joined the Federation of the Great Towers of the World and ranks 11th among more than 200 towers of the world. At the same time, it is the only structure of such kinds in Central Asia and takes the second place in height after the Ostankino TV tower (Moscow) among the CIS states.

Excursion program in modern Tashkent: The Amir Timur Square: The Timurid State Museum, Amir Timur Square in the center of which is a monument to the great commander Amir Timur, the Palace of Forums, Broadway - an avenue of artists with inexpensive souvenirs; different fountains and modern monuments of the capital.

Sightseeing tour of Samarkand: Registan Square is one of the outstanding examples of urban architecture of Central Asia, which was established in the 17th century and consists of three madrasahs - Ulugbek (1417-1420), Sher-Dor (1619-1636) and Tillya-Kari (1647-1660). There you may "leaf through the pages" of Samarkand's thousand-year history. Bibi-Khanym Mosque is a cathedral mosque which according to a legend was named after Amir Timur’s beloved wife. Majestic blue domes of the Bibi-Khanym Mosque are a striking sight.

Then visit the Siab Bazaar - the largest bazaar in Samarkand. Free time for buying souvenirs and oriental sweets.

The architectural complex Shahi - Zinda (11-15 century) - the burial place of royalty and nobility. Butthe main mausoleum, where the necropolis begins, is the imaginary tomb of the cousin of Prophet Muhammad - Kusam Ibn Abbas. He was called "Shahi Zinda", which means "Living King" in Persian.

Mausoleum Gur-Emir - Tamerlane's tomb (14-15 century) - the place where Amir Temur, his sons and grandchildren are buried.

Continuation of the tour: Visit to the Old paper mill near Samarkand. In the Middle Ages, Samarkand was famous throughout the East for its paper, the technology of its production was borrowed from China in the 7th century. The secrets of this craft were forgotten and restored with the help of UNESCO.

Today the Samarkand paper, once famous in the past, is again made according to old recipes in a specially constructed paper workshop in the village of Konigil in the outskirts of Samarkand (10 km from the center of Samarkand en route to Bukhara).

The production mechanisms here, as in the past, are driven by a water wheel using the waters of the Siab River. Here, like many centuries ago, you can see with your own eyes the whole process of making famous Samarkand paper on ancient restored technology.

Observatory of Ulugbek (15th century) - Scientific works of Ulugbek were created thanks to the unique observatory, which he erected in Samarkand. The main stationary tool was a giant quadrant located inside a cylindrical building with a diameter of 48 m (the remains of the foundation, or rather trenches from it, were found during archaeological research).

Visit to the Artisans Center. The Center of Craftsmen of Samarkand is the abode of skilled craftsmen and creative personalities. It is here from morning till evening, according to the old methods, needleworkers work day and night.

17:00 transfer to the Samarkand railway station. Train departure to Tashkent at 18:00, arrival at 20:10.

Then transfer to the international airport, and flight tothe next destination.

Cancellation policy

Payments & Cancellations

When you book a reservation for a Product through the Website, Steppe and Sky collects your payment information and processes your payment as described below under "Payment Processing". Steppe and Sky accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express. Also Steppe and Sky travel can issue invoices to your name. Full payment by credit or debit card is required to make a reservation.

No refunds are available once a tour or service has commenced, or in respect of any package, accommodation, meals or any other services utilized.

If you wish to cancel a reservation made via the Website, the supplier's cancellation policy contained in the applicable product listing will apply to, and govern the terms of, your cancellation and any refunds. When canceling a booking, you will be notified via email the total refund amount you will receive, if any.

The standard cancellation policy for Customers is:

a 90 % refund for cancellations made at least 15 days in advance of the start date of the experience. (Except for the tours to Baikonur Cosmodrome, see point 1)
a 60% refund for cancellations made later than at least 15 days in advance of the start date of experience. Unless the Customer could not inform the Steppe and Sky travel due to the force-majeure reasons.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date of the experience will receive no refund.
In case of no-show the Customer will receive no refund.
For the tours to Baikonur Cosmodrome the following penalties apply:

1 a 90% refund for cancellations made after the payment is made before the permission from Roscosmos State Corporation is received.

2. a 80% refund in case of cancellation of the tour after receiving permission to visit the Cosmodrome Baikonur by Roscosmos , regardless of the time.

3. a 0% refund for cancellations made 14 days prior to the tour start.

4. a 80% refund in case when Roscosmos refuses the Customer in permission to visit the spaceport (Cosmodrome Baikonur),

5. a 80% refund is applicable when Roscosmos either transfers or cancels the launch of the spacecraft, unless the Customer chooses to use the tour package of ‘between launches’ period, in this case the cost of the tour is recalculated and the difference is transferred to the account of the Customer.

The value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, duties, foreign transaction, currency exchange or other fees. Your bank or credit or debit card company may convert the payment into the local currency and charge fees, resulting in differences between the amount displayed on Steppe and Sky Travel and the final amount charged to your bank account or credit or debit card statement. Please contact your bank or card company if you have any questions concerning any applicable conversion or fees.
