No republic of Central Asia has as many historical monuments and ancient cultures as Uzbekistan. The territory of the country is considered the cradle of the most ancient human civilization.

Arrive to Tashkent's airport. Meet and greet service. Transfer to hotel, check in.

City tour along the old part of Tashkent: Visit to the Hasti Imam complex consisting of the Barak-Khan Madrassah, the Tillya Sheikh mosque, which is known as the repository of the famous Koran of Osman and the golden hair of the prophet Muhammad; Juma Mosque Khoja Ahrar Vali, State Museum of Applied Arts of Uzbekistan, Kukeldash Madrassah, Madrassah Abdulkasym.

Excursion program in modern Tashkent: The Amir Timur Square: The Timurid State Museum, Amir Timur Square in the center of which is a monument to the great commander Amir Timur, the Palace of Forums, Broadway - an avenue of artists with inexpensive souvenirs; different fountains and modern monuments of the capital.

Excursion around the city, with a visiting the architectural complex of Ichan Kala (12-19 centuries): The citadel of Kunya Ark (16th-17th century), the residence of the last Khan, including the Mausoleum of Ismail Haji, the Madrasah of Muhammad Amin Khan, the Madrasah of Muhammad-Rahimkhan, Juma - the mosque (10th century), the Juma mosque, the Shergazikhan Madrassah, Said Alauddin Mausoleum, the minaret Murad - tura. Architectural complex of Pakhlavan Mahmud: Mausoleum of Pakhlavan Mahmud (14-18 centuries), Minaret of Islamhuji, Ak-mosque, Bani Anushahan, Karavan-saray Allakulihan, Madrasah of Alpakulihan (1834-1835). Breakfast at the hotel, check out. The road to Bukhara passes through the Kyzylkum desert. Along the way you will have an opportunity to admire the great Central Asian river Amu Darya, you will see exotic landscapes of the desert. You will admire the barkhans and caravans of wild camels wandering through the desert!

City tour in Bukhara – by walk: The Ark Citadel is a city in the city (4th century BC), Bolo House Mosque (early 20th century), the architectural ensemble Poi-Kalon (Pedestal of the Great), the religious heart of Sacred Bukhara, consists of Kalyan minaret, Kalyan mosque and madrassah Miri-Arab. Madrassah of Ulugbek (1417), Madrasah of Nodir - Divan - Begi, Madrassah of Abdul Aziz Khan, Magoki-Attori Mosque (12th-16th centuries), Ensemble of Lyabi Khauz (14-17th centuries), Ensemble of Kosh-Madrasah (consisting of two opposing madrasah Madari-Abdullahan (mother Abdullahan) and medrese Abdullahan, Samanid Mausoleum (tomb of the Samanid dynasty of the late 9th - early 10th century), Mausoleum Chashma Ayub (Rod Job), Chor Minor (Four minarets).

Excursion out-of-town program for Bukhara: Visiting the mausoleum of Bahauddin Naqshbandi (XVI-XIX centuries), a Sufi teacher who is considered the founder of the most significant Sufi order of Naqshbandi.

Visit the necropolis Chor Bakr. There are burials of sheikhs from the clan of the Djuibar seyids In the necropolis of Chor-Bakr. The necropolis itself is a fairly large architectural complex, listed in the UNESCO catalog. The name of the necropolis "Chor-Bakr" means "Four brothers", but abroad the necropolis is better known as the "City of the Dead".
Visiting the palace of Sitorai Mohi Khosa (Palace similar to the stars and the moon) is a suburban residence of the Bukhara emir, built in the late XIX - early XX century.

After lunch, departure to Samarkand by car / minibus (travel time 2.5 - 3 hours).

Sightseeing tour of Samarkand: Registan Square is one of the outstanding examples of urban architecture of Central Asia, which was established in the 17th century and consists of three madrasahs - Ulugbek (1417-1420), Sher-Dor (1619-1636) and Tillya-Kari (1647-1660). There you may "leaf through the pages" of Samarkand's thousand-year history. Bibi-Khanym Mosque is a cathedral mosque which according to a legend was named after Amir Timur’s beloved wife. Majestic blue domes of the Bibi-Khanym Mosque are a striking sight. The architectural complex Shahi - Zinda (11-15 century) - the burial place of royalty and nobility. But the main mausoleum, where the necropolis begins, is the imaginary tomb of the cousin of Prophet Muhammad - Kusam Ibn Abbas. He was called "Shahi Zinda", which means "Living King" in Persian. Observatory of Ulugbek (15th century) - Scientific works of Ulugbek were created thanks to the unique observatory, which he erected in Samarkand. The main stationary tool was a giant quadrant located inside a cylindrical building with a diameter of 48 m (the remains of the foundation, or rather trenches from it, were found during archaeological research). Visit to the Mausoleum of the Prophet Daniel - The Prophet Daniel is revered by three world religions. He is one of the four great Israeli prophets in Judaism, the prophet, whose book entered the Old Testament of the Christian Bible and the prophet of the Islamic tradition. Legend says that Timur moved some of the remains of Daniel, namely his hand, to Samarkand. Mausoleum Gur-Emir - Tamerlane's tomb (14-15 century) - the place where Amir Temur, his sons and grandchildren are buried.

Cancellation policy

Payments & Cancellations

When you book a reservation for a Product through the Website, Steppe and Sky collects your payment information and processes your payment as described below under "Payment Processing". Steppe and Sky accepts the following credit cards: Mastercard, Visa, American Express. Also Steppe and Sky travel can issue invoices to your name.  Full payment by credit or debit card is required to make a reservation.

No refunds are available once a tour or service has commenced, or in respect of any package, accommodation, meals or any other services utilized.

If you wish to cancel a reservation made via the Website, the supplier's cancellation policy contained in the applicable product listing will apply to, and govern the terms of, your cancellation and any refunds. When canceling a booking, you will be notified via email the total refund amount you will receive, if any.

The standard cancellation policy for Customers is:

  1. a 90 % refund for cancellations made at least 15 days  in advance of the start date of the experience. (Except for the tours to Baikonur Cosmodrome, see point 1)
  2. a 60% refund for cancellations made later than at least 15 days in advance of the start date of experience. Unless the Customer could not inform the Steppe and Sky travel due to the force-majeure reasons.
  3. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start date of the experience will receive no refund.
  4. In case of no-show the Customer will receive no refund.
  5. For the tours to Baikonur Cosmodrome the following penalties apply:

1 a 90% refund for cancellations made after the payment is made before the permission from Roscosmos State Corporation is received.

2. a 80% refund in case of cancellation of the tour after receiving permission to visit the Cosmodrome  Baikonur by Roscosmos , regardless of the time.

3. a 0% refund for cancellations made 14 days prior to the tour start.

4. a 80% refund in case when Roscosmos refuses the Customer  in permission to visit the spaceport (Cosmodrome Baikonur),

5. a 80% refund is applicable when Roscosmos either transfers or cancels the launch of the spacecraft, unless  the Customer chooses to use  the tour package of ‘between launches’ period, in this case the cost of the tour is recalculated and the difference is transferred to the account of the Customer.

The value of the transaction may be subject to taxes, duties, foreign transaction, currency exchange or other fees. Your bank or credit or debit card company may convert the payment into the local currency and charge fees, resulting in differences between the amount displayed on Steppe and Sky Travel and the final amount charged to your bank account or credit or debit card statement. Please contact your bank or card company if you have any questions concerning any applicable conversion or fees.
